Today I went to a training class so I could learn more about leprosy before going into the village. I asked an official about what I had learned yesterday (how leprosy was an infectious disease). I learned something really interesting! Out of all the contagious diseases, leprosy is one of the least contagious. The reason is that 95 percent of people are naturally immune! They can only get the mildest forms of leprosy.
