Today it was back to the hospital! Since last time I compared different stages of leprosy, I decided to look at a different variable this time- time! That is, the amount of time someone has had leprosy. I learned that usually patients get sores on their skin 3-10 days after being infected, and after 2 weeks they get fevers, headaches, fatigue, and a loss of appetite! After a few months, most patients recover completely. There haven't been a lot of deaths, but it looks like the body is weakened by leprosy, more likely to catch other diseases.
