I arrived in South Africa yesterday morning. Currently, there is an outbreak of leprosy in 122 countries all around the world. I was sent to Africa to treat people who have contracted this disease. After talking to an expert on leprosy, I learned that leprosy is also commonly known as Hansen's disease, after Dr. Hansen.
